A gripping experience!

No one would have had such an experience on the first day of school that too at age 5. I was already crying till I reached the classroom despite the fact that the class teacher cum headmaster of the school ( There were only 1st and 2nd standard in that school)was our neighbour. Exactly at 9:30Am there was a commotion in the next building which was a primary health centre. I also joined the teacher and the other students to peep through the window and to our surprise, we saw the doctor of the health centre beating up the nurse. The nurse was crying aloud and running here and there. Finally she landed up in our class room and the teacher immediately closed the door of the class room so that the doctor would not enter in.
An hour later the teacher went to the police station nearby along with the nurse and registered a complaint. That day, I didn't know that my teacher had given even my name as a witness for the scene of fight.
Two days later when I was taking my evening-tifin, suddenly, the police entered our house, and asked my mom abt. me. On hearing this I ran out of the house through the back door, and sat behind a tree. Since my mom couldn't find me, she asked the police to come later. My mom never told about this to me.
A week later the people from the court came and asked my father to take me to court to be a witness for the incident. I went up, and hid myself in the bedroom as I was scared to go out of the house. The whole of the next week, I didn't go to school. Now and then I was crying , since my elder brother scared me about the court room, and how witnesses are questioned. Only when I went back to school after ten days, our teacher said he had excluded all our names from the witness list as we were too young for the court.. Because of the incident, I was scared of the place where the school was located. This made my dad change the school. Thus my tenure in that school ended abruptly. It's an unforgettable incident.
